Carols and Readings
Peter Leech, conductor
St George’s Bristol
Friday 19th & Saturday 20th December, 2008
Peter Leech’s farewell concert
after ten years as conductor of the Bristol Bach Choir contained a glittering mix of music and carols to inspire,
interspersed with readings challenging the audience to reflect on the true values of Christmas.
"...Two of the biggest hits of the evening were William Llewellyn's exciting arrangement of Ding Dong Merrily On High
and In Dulci Jubilo which the choir sang skilfully and with broad smiles on their faces..." (Gerry Parker,
Bristol Evening Post)
